Dear Collegues, Computed Tomography has become a part of the mainstream medical practice. More scientific data have become available, official guidelines and consensus documents recognise the useful applications of CT. In the past year, mdct.com.au has continued to place strong emphasis on the importance of promoting quality training and education through workshops and conferences. With advanced CT technology the future has the potential to deliver reduced radiation exposure to patients while ensuring substantially increased diagnostic speed, accuracy and diagnosis. mdct has developed a intensive academic and practical learning experience, whereby all CT manufactures are able to provide resources, protocols and helpful hints to service the national and international CT community. Furthermore, participants of training programs may now write a review of their training experience on our blog. Members profit from a regular newsletters that updates all recent developments in the field of computed tomography and also cases of interest.
